Nichole Trumbull

Nichole Trumbull is a Licensed Social Worker with tremendous amount of experience in Individual & Family Therapy, and Community Mental Health. She completed her Bachelor’s in Social Work at St. Augustine College, in Chicago. Her internship involved working with adults at The Chicago Lighthouse. Nichole has a Master’s degree in Social Work with a certification in Gerontology from Dominican University. During this time, she completed her clinical internship at Kenneth Young Center. She enjoys working with teens, adults, and families. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders, and Addictions.

Nichole’s believes that the therapeutic relationship should be one of authenticity, trust, collaboration, and a safe and supportive space. She focuses on client’s strength and resiliency. While striving to help clients find tools to cope with life’s stresses, Nichole pulls from positive psychology, client-centered, dialectal behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Nichole hopes to help clients find more adaptive habits that lead to more meaningful and gratifying lives. She truly believes in therapy and understands that this journey looks different for all individuals.

 

Nichole describes herself as having a down-to-earth vibe, sense of humor, and inviting demeanor. Outside of work, Nichole enjoys live music, movies, yoga, meditation, and somatic exercise. She enjoys spending time with her son outdoors playing games and sports.
